Senior women's Track and Fielder, Taylor Wells (Des Moines, IA) has been named Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week. Wells is coming off an impressive win at the Baker Relays.

Wells won the Discus with a NAIA automatic national qualifying mark of 43.79m, placed 3rd in Javelin at 37.33m, and was 5th in shot put with a season's best mark of 12.00m to help GV to a runner-up team finish at the Baker Relays.

This is Taylor's second honor of the 2017 Spring season. Wells along with the rest of the Vikings are back in action Saturday, April 8th at the Concordia Invitational in Seward, Nebraska.
