Senior women's track and fielder, Taylor Wells (Des Moines, Iowa) has been named Hear of America Athletic Conference women's outdoor field athlete of the week. Wells is coming off an impressive performance at the Grand View Invitational.

Wells won the discus with a NAIA A standard national qualifying mark of 46.09m and won the javelin with a NAIA B standard qualifying mark of 39.99m and placed 2nd (top collegiate finisher) in the hammer throw with a mark of 43.63m at the Grand View Invitational. Wells posted the top mark in the conference in discus, javelin, and hammer. She has the 2nd best mark in the NAIA in the discus and the 5th best mark in the NAIA in Javelin.
